We all do it. The mood boards. The font exploration. The “maybe next quarter” plans.
Procrasti-branding feels productive. It keeps us “in motion”. But deep down, we know it’s a placeholder… a way to delay actually putting ourselves out there.
What if you stopped designing for the version of your business you think you’re “allowed” to have — and built the one you actually want?
Here’s the truth I’ve seen over and over again:
The longer you wait to launch your real site – the one that shows who you are and what you offer – the harder it gets to begin. Not because you aren’t ready. But because waiting becomes the habit.
And the more you build in secret, the easier it is to believe it has to be perfect before it can be public.
But what your business needs isn’t more planning — it’s presence.
It needs a place for people to land.
To learn.
To say, “Yes. I’ve been looking for this.”
So if you’ve been tinkering, stalling, circling, or hiding behind the placeholder site “for now,” let this be your permission:
You’re not too early.
You’re not too late.
You’re right on time. Let’s begin.
